The bFlash team presents its advanced logging solution exclusively for VAG SIMOS18.1, SIMOS18.10 and PORSCHE SDI21.

This solution is indented to offer you the possibility to load your own logging configuration in bLog.

Our proprietary patch allows high-frequency data acquisition. It can be applied in OBD or BOOT, depending on the methods supported by the OEM ECU.

EDC16 Bench Update

The first update of the month is here to answer popular demand for legacy protocols.

bFlash is now able to read and write these control units in bench mode.
A wide increase in coverage from the popular Opel/Vauxhall PSG16 to light commercial vehicles with EDC16.

It is possible to read and write the these control units in BENCH mode.

To make your life even easier, our protocol automatically detects the presence of a SOTA (Software-over-the-air) enabled processor and dynamically switches the memory layout.

From now on you can tune the 2021 Ford F150 with MG1CS036 and the new
Renault 1.5 BlueDci EU6d-FULL with MD1CS016.

We not only have a solution for the TC399 but as an extra in this release, we offer the latest generation of MPC5898N that can be found in the 2021 Mahindra MD1CS018 and the 2021 Suzuki MG1CS026.

It is possible to read and write the these control units in BENCH mode.

New features and improvements!

Hi everyone,

1 World Premiere, a DSG Logger update and some new OBD and Bench protocols to go along with it!

Logger updates for DSG include :

  • DQ250.mqb
  • DQ381 and
  • DQ500.g3

With this update we are now able to log manufacturer specific values such as clutch pressure, solenoid current, primary and secondary axis speed, etc.

The T87a protocol is a World’s First and doesn’t require the TCU to be shipped to us! Read and Write from your own shop at no extra cost!

PART V – bFlash new protocols

When new protocols are the least important information of the newsletter, you know it’s good! Please find below a small (and incomplete) overview of old protocol improvements, followed by an overview of newly supported ECU’s/TCU’s.

Improvement: Ford protocol automatic recognition of control unit at reading/writing time.

Improvement: Ford protocol allows application software reflash for MG1CS015/016/017/019, MEDG17.0, EMS24xx, EMS25xx, EDC17CP42 and EDC17CP65. Other models to follow!

Improvement: Ford protocol now automatically detects area to reflash (unchanged areas are skipped).

Improvement: Ford protocol now supports compressed flash (faster flash) for MG1CS015/016/017/019 and EDC17CP65.
