New BitSoftware modules released!

The BitSoftware team have been hard at work developing some new modules!

A new module has been released for BitEdit:

Module for editing and tuning of Bosch ME17.8.5 ECUs.

Allows identification, reading of full flash and writing of the calibrations areas by K-Line. It also supports automatic correction of checksums while writing.

Bosch ME17.8.5.

Allows identification, virtual reading of full flash (from internet server) and writing of the calibrations areas by CAN bus. It also supports automatic correction of checksums while writing.

ECU is based on MCU Infineon Tricore TC1762 with internal Flash memory 1504Kb.

The following maps are available for editing:

Airmass maps for EGR, thresholds for EGR, desired boost maps and boost limitation, boost pressure vnt control maps, injection time control, fuel quantity maps, conversion from torque to fuel, quantity limitation maps, target lambda for smoke limitations, rail pressure maps, rail pressure limitation, start of injection maps, and also torque limitation, requested torque, gearbox torque maps, and torque monitoring maps and values (for EDC17) etc… See screenshots for more info!

BitEdit Toyota Petrol Turbo and Gearbox modules released!

BitEdit have launched 3 new modules for editing Toyota Lexus Denso ECUs. BitEdit now supports petrol turbocharged vehicles and also allows editing of automatic gearbox TCUs.

The following maps are available for editing:

Spark advance maps for high and low octane fuel, minimal spark advance, spark advance corrections, VVT camshaft position maps, injection enrichment control, injection corrections, throttle valve control, requested torque, and all main sensors conversion curves.

Gear shift conditions up and down for different modes, desired shift time, oil pressure for shifting and main pressure, and oil temperature sensor conversion! Also DTC table is available

The BitSoftware team are responsible for producing software packages designed for chiptuning beginners and professionals.

They currently offer 2 platforms:

Both software packages are managed by a Senselock USB dongle protection system, all software modules can be activated on a single dongle. The program has a client-server architecture needs to be connected to the Internet.

Droid Personal Flasher by Flashtec CMD

DPF is an VIN based OBD flasher for android devices. Popular CMDFlash OBD protocols are available, eventually all OBD protocols from CMDFlash will be added.

Droid Flasher Features:

  • The master can manage all users with a pc, mobile or tablet and take control remotely of the DPF.
  • As soon as the end user reads the car, the file will be instantly available on the master backend (cloud system) and back to the DPF as soon as the tuned file is prepared.
  • No more decoding/encoding of files and sending back and forth by email
  • The master can add a maximum of 5 files and user can flash original or tuned files as many times as they like.
  • A log will always be available for master on the backend and the master can also see in realtime what is going on the screen of the slave/end user, where the master can also take control.
  • More apps will come soon, e.g. gauges, power measurement, diagnostics etc.. also an sdk will be released.

DPF can be sold as master branded tool, so it will be tied to that master only, or as a free version so the user can select the master from a list of all CMD master users (master tool must have a valid cmdflash master subscription in order to be listed)
