BitEdit BMW Bosch MD1 Module Released!

New software module for editing calibrations of Bosch MD1 ECUs of diesel BMW vehicles. Supports all required maps for remapping, EGR, DPF removal, and also SCR (ADBlue) removal! DTC table also supported! 

Supported file size 7.5MB.

The following maps are available for editing:

Air control: desired airmass, airmass correction
Boost pressure: desired boost pressure, boost pressure limitation by atmospheric pressure, boost controller duty cycle with limitations
DPF: DPF regenerations masks, DPF switch, exhaust pressure sensor flags, scalings, error voltage thresholds
EGR Control: EGR position corrections, lower/upper thresholds for enable EGR for all modes, maximal EGR position request
EGT sensors: all EGT sensors scalings, flags and error voltage thresholds
Injection: injector opening time, injection quantity from torque, post injection quantities, start of main injection angle, start of injection limiters
Rail pressure: PID-controller components, target rail pressure, rail pressure limitation, minimal rail pressure for start, rail pressure regulator
SCR (ADBlue): Catalyst load/unload factors, switches for NOx, ADBlue injection, lambda regulation, NSC, LamCtl
Target lambda: Target lambda for smoke limitation
Torque limitation: main inner and outer torque limiters, torque limitation in system errors, torque limitation by EGT, exhaust pressure, fuel temperature
Requested torque: requested torque, accelerator pedal maps for ECO,Sport,Sport+ modes, requested torque reducing by ECT and atmospheric pressure

Welcome to our summer release! MAGPro2 X17 ver 12.07.00 released

We have a lot of hot new protocols which you have been waiting for years.
First in the list are the newest bosch engine control unit type, MG1 and MD1.

From today it is finally possible to access them in OBD mode for the models mounted on BMW, Ford, Lincoln and Rolls Royce.

This is a historical date – as finally vehicles using the 3,5 V6 Ecoboost engine now are available for tuning.
Those MY2016-2017-2018 MEDC17 ECUs with new password protection (error 7F 31 33) will be no longer a problem now, as they can be shipped to our lab in Italy to read password. Solution works for all brands and is free of charge for X17 owners.
OBD solution for BMW MG1CSxxx and MD1CPxxx/CSxxx ECUs is already available on request – just open a support ticket to request access to this protocol.

Casting aside the most waited control units of the year 2017 and 2018, our update still has a lot to offer:

The new 1.0 TSI from VAG are available by OBD (MED17.1.27), and Jaguar and Land Rover (MY2017-2018) using MED17.8.32 will be now supported in Bench mode by pinout.
BMW ZF 8HP is now available for Fxx series, with a clone and a virgin function as well for who is not interested in tuning them. Procedure is, as usual, by pinout – tuning via OBD directly.
As requested by many, PSA DCM6.2A OBD protocol has been added as well as some older protocols to ensure a better compatibility of X17 for specific markets.

Last but not least, a gift sent to our customers waiting for us in Atlanta for the next trade show: GPEC2 and GPEC2A full bootloader protocol for FCA group.

We are releasing ver 12.06.00 of MAGPro2 X17: this update, aside several software improvements, focuses on two important brands, for which we added exclusive new protocols:
1. Volvo, for which we added support both for tractors (with Kubota engine) and, most importantly, all 2.0 engines from 2014 to 2017 using Denso ECUs with processor SH72546R! This includes both diesel and petrol versions.
2. Ford, we added the new generation petrol engines – 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 used on Fiesta and Ka+!

MAGPro2 X17 ver. 12.05.00 released!

After so much time spent waiting for BMW Exx OBD solution, we thought to include in this Easter update also an improved OBD Unlock system for all VAG (including Porsche, Lamborghini, and much more) MEDC17 (also including those which weren’t possible before, for example EDC17CP54, EDC17C74 and MED17.1.1) that is, basically, a simplified version of old protocol. Just virtual read and write, and X17 will take care of locking flash counter and doing the unlock as usual.
But the real surprise inside your 2018 Easter Egg are the Continental SIM2K: now featuring never-seen before solutions for the latest models like SIM2K-260 and SIM2K-251, including access to the TCU part of the control unit!
News come also for Honda MED17.9.3 MY2018 – we added a new pass reading method for those that were not possible before, for the brand new Civics.
After working on Asian and European vehicles, we decided to give a thought also to American vehicles, releasing bootloader solution for Delco E92, E87 and E78 – alongside OBD for E98.
And for those who wish to experiment on files we also added a function to backup and restore the content of those ECUs, including Simos 12 and 18.

* Unlock function is done automatically by software only if needed, so there is no need to do anything. Just virtual read and then write. Any patch will be applied as usual, with flash counter lock for VAG (won’t increase anymore after first write), saving password for bootloader as backup and by keeping the Hxx tag as such (instead of having H43 become X43, for example, now H43 will be kept as H43)

** Function only available for now to have a backup in case of issues. Clone or extraction of files is not possible yet due to security reasons.

The BitSoftware team have released this new module which allows complete OBD flashing of BMW EDC17 / MEVD17 ECUs fitted in Fxx vehicles over ENET. 

Module allows:

BMW Fxx FLASHER update 01.01.07 released

From today a SLAVE version of BMW Fxx Flasher is available!

Every master owner of slaves will have to purchase a slave decryption module.

That’s not all: we just released function to enable ISN reading, Flash counter LOCK function (it won’t increase any more after writing) and original restore function – all by OBD of course.

Once again, merry Christmas and Happy new Year from MAGICMOTORSPORT Team!

 

New Functions added:

  • added Restore ORI function (restore to original FLASH, does not modify EEPROM) – for warranty purposes

  • added Reading Secret key (ISN) for diesel engines* – useful function for recoding used ECUs

  • added FLASH COUNTER LOCK function* – now you can write as many times as you want your car on the dyno. Flash counter will remain always ORIGINAL.

 

* Requires unlock with this software release: if ECU was already patched, you should use Restore ORI function and then write any file (original or mod).
Only after this process the function will be active.
