MAGPro2 TCU Manager software v10.70.00

TCU Manager is back in business!

After the many requests and the great demand from so many enthusiasts from the TCU sector, we realised that the MAGPro2 TCU MANAGER is needed in the market. MAGPro2 X17 software v10.70.00

The February update is out now!

We start off with EDC17C84_V2. This ECU has a new software, different from the already supported EDC17C84 – we finally found a solution to tune and clone those units which are used on MY2016 & MY2017 vehicles.

Similarly, we added a new version of the CRD3.xx TC1793 – CRD3P.D1.

Furthermore, now it is possible to CLONE and RESTORE older version of the 7-Speed dual clutch transmission named VGS-FDCT – allowing you to clone any dual clutch transmission from 2010 model year to nowadays. We also released TPROT OFF solution for BMW EDC17 Exx series has been released as a free service through Helpdesk.

On next update: we are adding tuning solution for all the gearboxes currently supported by CLONE/RESTORE protocol. Our next MAGIC is already on its way to your businesses!

MAGPro2 X17 software v10.60.00

Here we are with the first update of the year! This time we are bringing you even more magic protocols – we are now focusing on VAG DELPHI: the DCM6.2V is now available by OBD (1.4 TDI, 1.6 TDI, 2.0 TDI and 2.0 BiTDI engines from 2013 on) along with the DCM3.7 (1.2 TDI engines).

Let’s have an in depth look at the DCM6.2V: this ECU is really interesting, because it is used in so many types of vehicles that it is easily accessible to any type of repair garage or chiptuner:

  • VW Crafter;

  • VW Caravelle, Multivan, California & Transporter T6;

  • VW Golf, Audi A3, Seat Leon and Skoda Octavia;

  • VW Polo, Audi A1, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia.

This means that being able to work on this unit – especially since they have been around for quite some time – will deeply expand your business possibilities.
Furthermore, all our customers will finally be able to work on PSA (and FIAT) SIEMENS SID208! This new solution will only be available to you if you send the ECU to our main HQ in Italy.
Our Team will send you back your ECU and BL password in 24h and you will be able to read and write it in bootloader mode.

We are adding 439 vehicles in this release.

1. Now it is possible to clone more Audi TCUs: VL381 and DL382;
2. BMW gearboxes anyone? They are also available – we are officially releasing a CLONE/RESTORE protocol for DKG units, present on the Exx and Fxx series (for example M3, M4, M6) from 2008;
3. You’ve been expecting it: Mercedes VGS2-FCVT and VGS2-FDCTG2 transmission units are ready to be cloned by your X17 tool! These gearboxes are present in Class A, B, CLA and GLA vehicles, from 2005 to 2016;

  • As in the last update, we have news about Toyota Denso. X17 now supports several new petrol engines from MY2014, MY2015 and MY2016. The readout will not be virtual, but real for new generation 1GRFE, 2GRFKS, 2GRFXS, 2TRFE, 2URGSE, 6ARFSE, 6GRFE, 7GRFSE, 8ARFTS and 8NRFTS engines;

  • We also added 1GDFTV and 2GDFTV MY2015 diesel engines – only virtual read is available for these models;

  • We added a simple button to process TCU cloning & restoring in one click: the CLONE/RESTORE function. This has been enabled for the old DQ200Dxx & DQ250 Exx / Fxx, and for some new units such as Powershift gearboxes and DSGs from the MQB generation. Now you can read the full content of a TCU and paste it in another or rewrite it to be able to restore it in case the unit gets locked. All by TCU connector! There’s no need to open the unit;

  • Hyundai and Kia OBD solutions for most MEDC17s are now out;

  • VAG Simos 12 (and 12.1) and Simos 18 (including 18.1 and 18.2) are now supported;

  • x17 now speaks Turkish and Korean! We wish to thank our representatives for this great improvement.

  • We greatly improved our ECU number translator by implementing other brands (previously it only worked on VAG) and by adding all compatible hardware numbers. This feature is very important for all ECU repairers as it provides all the valid hardware for cloning or repair purposes.
