My Personal Flasher Features:

  • MPF is an VIN based OBD flasher available in windows and android versions.
  • Popular CMDFlash OBD protocols available, eventually all OBD protocols from CMDFlash will be added.
  • The master can manage all users with a pc, mobile or tablet and take control remotely of the MPF.
  • As soon as the end user reads the car, the file will be instantly available on the master backend (cloud system) and back to the MPF as soon as the tuned file is prepared.
  • No more decoding/encoding of files and sending back and forth by email
  • The master can add a maximum of 5 files and user can flash original or tuned files as many times as they like.
  • A log will always be available for master on the backend and the master can also see in realtime what is going on the screen of the slave/end user, where the master can also take control.
  • More apps will come soon, e.g. gauges, power measurement, diagnostics etc.. also an sdk will be released.

MPF can be sold as master branded tool, so it will be tied to that master only, or as a free version so the user can select the master from a list of all CMD master users (master tool must have a valid cmdflash master subscription in order to be listed)

Universal OBD to VL381 MULTI-TRONIC CVT Cable

This cable allows you to connect most flash tools to VL381 Multi-Tronic CVT controllers. This can be used to read out the original file direct from the Gearbox connector as reading over OBD is not always possible.

It can also be used to read all versions of VL381 on the bench.

The cable is CAN bus wired (with integral termination resistor) and is fitted with an OBD2 female plug allowing connection any flash tool with an OBD2 cable.

This cable allows you to connect most flash tools to VAG DSG DL501 S-Tronic controllers. This can used to read the original file direct from the DSG connector.

It can be used to read all versions of DL501 on the bench.

The cable has CAN wired and is fitted with an OBD2 female plug allowing connection any flash tool with an OBD2 cable.

SpiderBOOT by CMD Flashtec

SpiderBOOT Features:

SpiderBOOT is a small circuit to be fitted into electronic control units. SpiderBOOT is provided with a high temperature, heat resistant adhesive insuring safe anchorage to the microprocessor. SpiderBOOT terminals are configurable allowing the user to achieve the signals from the microprocessor in order to emulate BOOT equipments through the OBD diagnostic socket.

Benefits:

  • Once installed and mounted, the ECU can be sealed with no need to re-open to make changes or to restore to the original software. This will insure and preserve ECU from any unwanted water infiltration.
  • Read and write, possible on all areas: IROM/XROM/E2P
  • Saving of control unit backup
  • Writing Backup to restore the unit to its original
  • The OBD programming counters are not incremented
  • Invisible to the official diagnosis tools
  • Recovery always possible.
  • Rates of reading and writing reduced to a few minutes (always less than 5min)
  • Checksum is automatic on calibration areas

Special Functions:

Protection of files – SpiderBOOT has a setup menu that allows the tuner to choose between the following options: protection from OBD reading, OBD writing, restricted access to their ID. This allows you to avoid reading or unauthorized reprogramming, including manufactures settings. To ensure total protection you need to seal the unit so that no one can have access to it. This can be done by using NON acetic silicon or potting epossidicresins for electronic use.

SpiderBOOT can only be initialized once and can not be re-used for another ecu.

It is currently available for TriCore Infineon. A BDM version will soon be available for units equipped with Motorola processors 5xx
