This is a heavy duty 1 metre cable with high quality OBD2 moulded connector and the unique Byteshooter RJ45 connection, compatible with ByteShooter Basic and Crossfire tools.

Universal OBD to VL381 MULTI-TRONIC CVT Cable

This cable allows you to connect most flash tools to VL381 Multi-Tronic CVT controllers. This can be used to read out the original file direct from the Gearbox connector as reading over OBD is not always possible.

It can also be used to read all versions of VL381 on the bench.

The cable is CAN bus wired (with integral termination resistor) and is fitted with an OBD2 female plug allowing connection any flash tool with an OBD2 cable.

ByteShooter Update – DSG DL501

Byteshooter’s newest developement is finished today.
The software module 038 is for DSG VAG with DL501 gearboxes.
It has been tested on:

  • Audi Q5 3.0TDI 240PS
  • Audi S4/S5 3.0TFSI 333PS
  • Audi A6 3.0TFSI 300PS

Checksum will be managed by ByteShooter.
Read by special plug and write by OBD2 in less then 2 minutes.

The module is for Byteshooter V4.0 users.
The module cannot be activated for older versions as ByteShooter V4.00
