K-TAG / Trasdata VAG EDC17C46 Probe

This BDM Style probe allows reading/writing of VAG EDC17C46 control units on the bench without soldering.

No additional resistors or boot pins are required!

It is supplied with a special cable to connect the ecu directly to the KTAG or Trasdata interface. It can also be used with  KESS V2 or Genius if the tool is equipment with the tricore bootloader interface.

This kit includes the EDC17C46 probe and cable.

This BDM Style probe allows unlocking of VAG SIMOS PCR control unit on the bench without soldering.

No additional resistors or boot pins are required!

It is supplied with a special cable to connect the ecu directly to the KTAG or Trasdata interface. It can also be used with  KESS V2 or Genius if the tool is equipment with the 1.6TDI unlock kit/interface. An additional adapter cable is supplied to allow bench flashing once the ECU is unlocked.

This kit includes the PCR probe and 2 x cables.

CMDFlash VAG MED17.5.2 Probe

This BDM Style probe allows reading/writing of VAG MED17.5.2 control units without soldering.

No additional resistors or boot pins are required!

It connects directly to the CMDFlash Boot Interface. It can be used to read/write password over “OBD” communication and also to read/write the IROM/EEPROM memory over Boot Strap Loader mode by the flick of a switch.LED lights are fitted to the underside of the probe to aid alignment, Power is supplied by your existing CMD BDM/Tricore power supply.

MEDC17 Tricore Boot Pin Kit – No More Soldering!

This kit provides a clean connection to ecu boot pads without soldering!

Simply screw the plate to the control unit and align the boot pins with the corresponding pads on the ecu. The arms are secured with high performance magnets ensuring no movement once aligned.

Each kit includes an ECU mounting plate and 2 x arms equipped with spring loaded boot pins. It is suitable for ecu’s with up to 2 connections.

* The cable pictured above is not included in the kit. Specific ecu cables can be supplied upon request. *

Bosch MEDC17 Eeprom Checksum Service Available

This is a file service to recalculate the checksums in Bosch MED17 / EDC17 eeprom files.

It can be useful if you want to remove the speed limiter, reset flash counters or make any other changes in this memory, we can calculate the new checksum values so the controller will accept the data.

CMDFlash DQ200 DSG Tricore Cable

This cable allows you to connect your CMDFlash to Temic DSG DQ200 controllers and can be used to read out the original file when virtual read fails, as reading over OBD is not possible.

It can be used to read/write all versions of DQ200 on the bench.

The cable has both K-line and CAN wired (with integral termination resistor) and is fitted with a DB9 plug for a direct connection to the CMDFlash interface.
