MPPS Siemens PCR Probe – SIMOS PCR 2.1

This BDM Style probe allows unlocking of VAG SIMOS PCR control units on the bench without soldering.

No additional resistors or boot pins are required!

It is supplied with a cable to connect the ECU directly to the MPPS OBD port.

This cable can also be used for most VAG MEDC17 ECU’s and is complete with 1K ohm boot wire!

This kit includes the Simos PCR probe and ECU cable. An external power source is required to power the ECU.

  • Added VAG Siemens Simos 8.3 3.0TFSI Read/Write/Checksum (Unlocked ecu’s only).
  • Added VAG Siemens Simos 8.4 3.0TFSI Read/Write/Checksum (Unlocked ecu’s only).

These are beta versions and can only be found under listed Audi A7.

 

  • Updated timings on VAG EDC16CP (was timing out going into programming mode)
  • Corrected timing a problem with Mercedes EDC16 read.
