Button “DTC 167F clear” is used to patch ECU preventing P167F error “unauthorized Software” from occurring.
Error is stored on e2p with tuned files and is not clearable by Diag tools.
BENCH Protocol removes error from e2p and patches ECU bootloader to disable it permanently.
