Welcome to our summer release! MAGPro2 X17 ver 12.07.00 released
We have a lot of hot new protocols which you have been waiting for years.
First in the list are the newest bosch engine control unit type, MG1 and MD1.
From today it is finally possible to access them in OBD mode for the models mounted on BMW, Ford, Lincoln and Rolls Royce.
This is a historical date – as finally vehicles using the 3,5 V6 Ecoboost engine now are available for tuning.
Those MY2016-2017-2018 MEDC17 ECUs with new password protection (error 7F 31 33) will be no longer a problem now, as they can be shipped to our lab in Italy to read password. Solution works for all brands and is free of charge for X17 owners.
OBD solution for BMW MG1CSxxx and MD1CPxxx/CSxxx ECUs is already available on request – just open a support ticket to request access to this protocol.
Casting aside the most waited control units of the year 2017 and 2018, our update still has a lot to offer:
The new 1.0 TSI from VAG are available by OBD (MED17.1.27), and Jaguar and Land Rover (MY2017-2018) using MED17.8.32 will be now supported in Bench mode by pinout.
BMW ZF 8HP is now available for Fxx series, with a clone and a virgin function as well for who is not interested in tuning them. Procedure is, as usual, by pinout – tuning via OBD directly.
As requested by many, PSA DCM6.2A OBD protocol has been added as well as some older protocols to ensure a better compatibility of X17 for specific markets.
Last but not least, a gift sent to our customers waiting for us in Atlanta for the next trade show: GPEC2 and GPEC2A full bootloader protocol for FCA group.

- Daihatsu Denso 896xx ALL: fixed writing issue (authorization error) that occurred on some vehicles. It will work fine by OBD now.
