Bench Solution for FCA Marelli 11GF

Release 7.48.0.0 of Flex allows you to Bench program FCA engine control units equipped on mild hybrid systems, extending intervention possibilities on a more modern range of vehicles.

With protocol for Marelli 11GF you can perform engine calibration operations in order to improve performance, as well as restore and clone ECUs without the need to open the unit.

It’s super easy: read the full backup of the damaged unit and transfer data to a working unit. No need to have both vehicles inside the workshop.

Expansion of OBD Writing Protocols (Porsche .PDX)

Building on the proven architecture of our VAG .FRF, .ODX, and .SGO writing tool, we are pleased to announce the deployment of OBD support for Porsche .PDX files. This update extends our flashing capabilities to both Porsche ECU and TCU modules.

Key Technical Details:

Protocol Consistency: The workflow remains identical to our existing VAG OBD tool, ensuring a seamless transition for users.

Initial Database: Our online repository currently hosts over 1,500 validated .PDX files.

Ongoing Development: We are committed to scaling this database. User-submitted logs and files will play a critical role in our roadmap to expand coverage.

Fomoco UTCU3 TCUs Now Covered

New version 7.47.0.0 of Flex out now, introducing a new protocol dedicated to Fomoco UTCU3 TCUs installed on Ford vehicles with 6, 8, and 10-speed automatic transmissions.

With the new Flex release, you can perform OBD programming of a wide range of vehicles that are equipped with this control unit, by connecting directly to the diagnostic port.

Operating in OBD means getting quick access to the map area, making it possible to carry out necessary modifications to optimize transmission performance.

OBD protocol for Ford Conti EMS2910 EMS2916

Thanks to this development, it is now possible to work via OBD on the latest Ford and Lincoln vehicles for the US and global markets, equipped with 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.0 EcoBoost engines and Continental EMS2910, EMS2916 ECUs.

Today, KESS3 allows direct access through the diagnostic port on these applications from 2023 onwards, offering fast and reliable access to a modern platform designed to advancedly manage combustion strategies, turbocharging and emissions control.

MMS FLEX: Bench for Mercedes Delphi CPC2

Bench mode for Mercedes Delphi CPC2 TC1793/1797.

New protocol released in version 7.45.0.0 of Flex to support Bench work on Mercedes vehicles equipped with CPC2 and TC1793 and TC1797 processors.

This new protocol allows for programming of the following power train units:

  • Mercedes Delphi CPC2.10 – TC1797
  • Mercedes Delphi CPC2.15 – TC1793
  • Mercedes Delphi CPC2.20 – TC1797
  • Mercedes Delphi CPC2.2 – TC1793
  • Mercedes Delphi CPC2.3 – TC1793

As of today, you no longer need to open the unit to access the full content of Internal Flash and Internal EEPROM memories: connect directly to the connector in order to optimize parameters such as torque and speed limiters or work on intercooler flow management to improve intake air temperature.
